I replaced the climate control panel on my 2009 Toyota Corolla LE, and now the audio system, 12v charge, and power mirrors are not working. I've checked the fuses and none of them are blown, and everything appears to be connected. I can't figure this one out
You have forgotten to attach one of the ground wires
Testimonial: "Someone else had suggested that, too, but everything appears to be connected. I didn't remove the audio system originally, but did check to make sure the ground wire was connected and it is. When I installed the new temp control panel, I just removed the harnesses from the old one and reattached them to the new one (the temp control panel works great!). I've looked around on the inside and there's no cables or anything that are unattached. Ground wires are usually black and look just like regular wires, correct? Thanks for your help thus far, I really appreciate the response!"

Hi there!
If you have checked all the fuses under the dash, Make sure you look at those closest the battery near the engine.
If these test fine, There is probably a cable fault.
If you have a meter, take out the 15A fuse for the lighter, and use a probe between the contacts and ground (steelwork/ Negative)
You should get 12V or thereabouts. If you don't - check engine bay area fuses in the same manner one by one, then replace after testing.
Pull the fuses relating to the radio in the same manner, one by one.
You should be able to identify the fault this way if you are methodical about it.
Hope this resolvesthe problem for you. If it does, Please take a moment to rate as Fixya!
Thanks.
SOURCE: how to replace power mirror passenger side 2003 corolla le ?
Remove the black plastic trim that covers the interior of the mirror mounting, it just pulls off. You will now see 3 10 mm bolts. Removing them will release the mirror from the door panel. The power wire may be right behind the mirror, by tthe bolts, OR it may be under the door panel; which will make you have to pull the door panel off. The mirror wires are different, depending where it was built.
Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Their are two fuses that power this system. One is a 15 amp gauge fuse and the other one is a 30 amp main power fuse. You can also check the power main relay, your ignition switch, or i could possibly be a fault in the wiring
SOURCE: I can't find where the fuse box for the radio for corolla 2006
Pg. 250 of your 2006 Owner's Manual shows the location of the Fuse Boxes. There is one under your hood on the driver's side and the other is under the dash just to the left of steering wheel. Pg 272, will show you how to replace the fuses. Pg. 286-287 gives a diagram and description of each fuse and what part of the electrical system it enables.
I blew a fuse while using my Cigarette lighter/power outlet to inflate my tires. It took out the power to the car stereo, the clock below it, and the two Cigarette lighter/power outlets.
This portion of the electrical system correspondeds to the fuse in position 32 on pg. 287 of the manual.
Your going to have to get on your back with a flashlight and open up the fuse box under the dash by the steering wheel. The lid of the fuse box shows the positions of the fuse and their amperage rating. Like I said, replace the fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp). There is a spare 15 Amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood (easy to get to, see the diagrams in the owner's manual). There is also a fuse puller tool next to the spare fuses.
I hope you would be able to find the radio Fuse.
Any further questions regarding replacement, feel free to contact me.
Thanks for using Fixya.

the fuses for the windows will be in fuse box, it sounds like possible water intrusion, the fuses should all be marked, if they are all good, you may have to remove the door panel to check for any damage at door switches
