I have a 2006 GV susuki, the light are not on the road but to the side a little. how do they adjust

The lights have little adjustment screws and the lights are either spring mounted or will have plastic inserts .The whole idea is to be able to move the lights side to side or up and down to a degree .The best way to adjust them is when its getting dark park in front of a wall or garage door turn the lights on so you can see witch way are pointing. You want the drivers side pointing slightly down and toward the middle of the road and the passenger side can be higher but under 45 degrees and more in line with the side of the road .Head lights are for outer people to see you. So you don't want to blind people coming the other direction head on crashes are never good.

are you even on a road, offroad.or on ice? where?
which 4wd system do you have, we are to guess that?
sure you can if awd, turn the knob.( if no knob its not AWD)
do so moving as slow as possible. dead slow.
in the PT system you need to be on ice or dirt
or the gear box can lockup in 4wd.
do so as slow as possible saving the poor dog gears.

on suzuki , 2004 introduces AWD
some started in 2006
and is an OPTION day 1, buying 4wd cars.

there are screws to adjust the lights but i find more times that the headlight bulb was replaced and the bulb wasn't place on the line up groove

If they are adjustable, the adjuster screw would be visible just above or below the lens. Are you sure the bulb is seated in the socket? and seated into the light assembly squarely?

Yeah it sounds kinda high. There is no adj except for the idle screw on the throttle, the computer does the rest, if it has one. If not, then you can adjust it some how. If carbureted, check for 2 little screws in the front, and check the choke, If throttle body, then just the idle screw, the idle should be around 1000. Hope this helps.

Ford Requires a special tool to adjust headlights, you can buy from ford or Mac or snap-on tools. Car must be level and you need it to be slightly dark outside so you can see what your doing. Adjust driver head light on low beam, as you are turning adjustment screw turn the screw for raising the head light and raise the head light up or down till it is 30 feet in front of you. you can take steps and measure it this way which would be 10 steps or ten yards on a normal person that is 5.8ins tall. then adjust the side adjuster so that when looking at the head light spot on the ground it is pointing to the passenger car side about one foot away from straight on. Meaning if you were going down the highway that the light would point down and slightly to the right not on the center road painted lines. Next adjust the passenger side to where it is the same height as the driver side, then hit your high beams. it should be aimed so that the lights do not shine into on com-ming drivers eyes. If you have a garage or a building that you can get thirty feet away and the car is level it will make it easier for you to see what your adjusting. Afterwords you may have to make a minor adjustment to both lights. I like to set them so that the passenger is slightly higher and a little to the right so you can see going down the road at night an avoid or see a deer or person to the right side of the road. Some states requires that a certified light mechanic to do this so be sure you are not voilating any laws when doing this. Thanks for using fix-ya and rate if this was helpful.

Hello, I think Suzuki offered Peugeot/Citroen Diesel engines in the earlier models but started offering Renault Diesel in 2006. I believe that the gas motors were all Suzuki.

Look around the edge of the headlight. You may have to pull a cover off from around the headlight if you cannot see them. Normally there are 2 screws that can be adjusted with a cross tip screwdriver. One screw on top of the light, and on on the side. Loosen the top screw to adjust down, tighten the screw to adjust up. If the side screw on the light is towards the inside, then loosen the screw to adjust towards the outside of the road and tighten it to adjust the light towards the inside of the road. If the screw is towards the outside of the light, then it is reversed. tighten to bring the light towards the edge of the road and loosen to bring the light towards the inside of the road.
