Programing instructions for buick 2006 lacrossekeyless remote fob

Transmitter ProgrammingImportant: All transmitters which are to be recognized by the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR) must be programmed in a single programming sequence. If the system is placed in program mode it will erase all previously programmed transmitters upon the receipt of the programming signal from the first transmitter. Up to 4 transmitters can be programmed. Do not operate or program the transmitters in the vicinity of other vehicles that are in the keyless entry program mode. This prevents the programming of the transmitters to the incorrect vehicle.
  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Use the scan tool in order to access programming: Vehicle Control System/Computer Integrating System/Module Setup/BCM/Program Key Fobs.
  3. Press the START soft key on the scan tool. Important: The scan tool must stay connected until all of the transmitters are programmed.
  4. Press and hold the LOCK button and the UNLOCK button simultaneously on one transmitter. After a delay of 5-10 seconds, the scan tool will indicate that the transmitter is programmed.
  5. Repeat the previous step in order to program up to 4 transmitters.
  6. Remove the scan tool.
  7. Operate the transmitter functions in order to verify correct system operation.
Good luck

How to change heater core in buick lacrosse

Your Buick has a heater core o heat the air sent from the air conditioning unit before it is blown outwards. A malfunctioning heater core may cause the coolant to leak on the inside of the car, or It may even lead to smoke blowing out from the air vents. Replacing the heater core will solve the problem, and to do so, you require a socket wrench and a Philips head screwdriver. Thi process is straight forward, but it may take up to an hour to finish 1. Pop open the hood, lift it, and then disconnect the bettery by using a socket wrench 2. On the passenger side, unwind the four screws from the kick panel which is underneath the glove box 3. Disconnect and remove the kick panel 4. Open the glove box, remove all contents within, and then unmounts the whole glove box by removing the screws 5. Pull down the flange, and you can access the heater core. To open it up - remove the two bolts from heater core cover and lift it off 6. Disconnect the core's wiring harness, then remove the four screws that are holding it in by using a Philips head screwdriver. Now you can easily remove the lousy heater core 7. Install the new heater core, then - reconnect wiring, screws, heater core case, and finally, the bolts 8. Reattach the kick panel and then glove box, and you are done

2006 lacrosse cxl the air and heat stopped working. the lights for this function stopped showing. i pulled the fuse on the passenger side and put back, it worked again. However the problem was the sa

Is this the fuse you pulled or a different fuse? I looked at info for automatic hvac on your vehicle. The fuse in the diagram shows to be a dedicated circuit, no splices on the wire circuit, goes to havc control module. It might be possible to use inline fuse off positive battery post. That way you could bypass the fuse block and the wiring circuit both, up to a point. You would need to leave pig-tail wire at the hvac control module to splice new wire. At the fuse block, just leave the fuse unplugged. The autostore sells inline fuse socket. You may not want to get into this, in this manner? Just a thought. Of course if the problem is the hvac control module itself or wire connector at the module, it won't work. I'm just thinking out loud. hvac fuse-mjcomtb2yfd1cmim320u4r0d-2-0.jpg

My 2006 Buick Lacrosse warning light started dinging while I was driving and the seat belt light for passenger seat started flashing even though there was no one in the seat. After stopping the car I

It sound like two or three separate problems, but it's hard to tell. The seat belt warning could be a faulty switch which senses a passenger in the seat, while the trunk lid opening could be a battery problem in the key fob. However, if the door locks still work with the same key fob, the problem is more likely with the lock on the trunk. Not starting after stopping could be a battery problem.

Low beam headlight - passenger side - on my 2006

From Info I have looked at I believe under hood micro switch relay 35 is for low beam and 34 is for high beam. It also looks like you have a different fuse for each light. The relay are for both low beam or both high beams. each headlight has its own fuse. I believe #4 fuse under hood is for passenger side low beam. fuses 1-4 under hood are for the four headlights as I understand the info I have seen.
