It sat for a few months, then would not move checked everything and such, got it to go but stops in rev. And forward .now it won't move at all

You have a serious transmission problem, by driving the car you are making a bad problem worse. You will need to have the transmission overhauled.

Get your transmission position sensor checked. With it being an automatic it doesnt have a clutch

check the tranny fluid level, then make sure the parking brake shoes are not rusted in place, if its a auto trans the coverter has drained all the fluid,

Sounds to me like a switch problem The master window switch should be checked. Also check the door switches to see if they are getting voltage. Could also be bad window motors. Tests need to be done. Is there power to the power seat switch?

06 Colbalt Electrical System Dead

I would go to the positive terminal on the battery anjd check for black hard build up on the post and inside the terminal. This is lead sulphate and cause a high resistance to any high current flow. Clean both with sand paper until shiny and refit and tension properly. Do the negative also as it will have build up but to a lesser degree. If the battery lead runs through a connection box Check for tight connections there also. As to towing most towers have a wheel rack that fits under the tyres and lifts them clear of the road so it can be taken to to a shop.

hey its a good idea to chack all the levels before starting especialy power steering gearbox etc... apart from that i would check that the fanbelt is still on and that the battery has good charge... if you know someone that may lend you a computer you could try changing that aswell, because its realy the only thing that could cause everything to loose power but im not sure why it would just die like that ..

Pull instrument/ cluster panel and re-melt cold solder joints where circuit board connects to dash connectors. Get them hot enough to turn them bright silver, usually 3-5 seconds each pin.
