Peugeot 207 2006 on 1.4hdi diesel hatch will a u/s headlight adjuster cause all the lights in the unit to fail, is the adjuster motor replaceable or is the whole headlight u/s. Fuses and power ok?

Sounds like a blown fuse...Check your fuse block for the rear window defroster...If it is OK, it might be that the leads to the window defroster have been broken by many openings and closings of the rear hatch.

Unfortunatly there is no adjustments, probably a weak motor.

Hi mate,
This is a common problem on the rear lights on 206's.
They have a problem with water leaking into the units and over time this corrodes the bulb holders and sometimes the wiring plugs. the only remedy is to replace the bulb holder unit.
As for the head lights they may just require a pair of bulbs.

there is usually a phillips or allen headed screw on the electric adjuster on the back of the head light this is the manual adjuster

Even if you could locate the correct adjuster, you will not be able to align the beam in accordance with MOT's requirements.

Only with the use of an approved Optical machine, will you be able to correctly adjust the beam of your headlights.

Unfortunately, this task is best left for the professionals only. A garage with the appropriate Optical machine can do this adjustment, for a small fee.
