You need a workshop manual to do the job properly. There are different items to service depending on the mileage - for example, a small service would usually entail cleaning the air filter and checking the fluid levels - engine oil, radiator water, brake and clutch fluid etc. Then check the tyres for wear and make sure all lights work OK.
A medium service would be to clean the air filter, or fit new one depending on driving conditions - you need to change this filter more often in dusty conditions.
Also, drain engine oil and refill and change spark plugs. Check plug wiring for cracks or breaks and do all in minor (small) service.
A major service would include all the above, but you now need to change the oil filter, fuel filter and the air filter, if necessary (oil and fuel filters are necessary).
Also, remove wheels and check condition of brake linings, check tyres for wear caused by misalignment and check play on wheel bearings.
These checks are not specific to your vehicle, and is just an overall guide. Your workshop manual may specify other areas. If in doubt, see your dealer, they have all the experts on hand.
