How do I fix my windscreen washer on my CLK 200 Kompressor.

Hi, the problem is that when I push the stalk nothing happens, the wiper action does not work, the jet function does not work and there is no buzzing sound from the washer pump. The fuses have been checked, the washer pump, checked ground to washerpump, found no power going to the pump. I suspect the SAM. Any advise, or sugestions? Thank you !

IF you've checked voltage and found no power going the wiper system, then I would back trace the power line. Logic would dictate that if the fuses were good, and you have no power to the wiper system then there is either a relay in line that's bad or you have a broken wire in the circuit.

Where on your dash board is the switchfor rear door window wiper and washer

Hi
This depends on the vehicle model, however often as not you can find the switch on the same stalk as the front wipers, turning the end of the stalk in the opposite direction to the front wipers, or gently pushing down or pulling up on the stalk (similar action to turning on/off high beam on the headlight stalk) or perhaps gently push forward or pull back (similar action to activating the turn signals) If this does not help locate the switch, please add your vehicle type in the comment box of your original question post.
Trust this helps regards Alan

Hi My windscreen washer doesn't work. I pull the stalk and nothing happens. The wiper action does work but the jet function doesnt. I have a 2003 aero. The washers were working and then stopped on my way...

Assuming the washer fluid is topped up, can you hear the washer motor buzzing? If you can then could be jets blocked or pipe come off! Is there water leaking under car?

Rear windscreen washes when stalk pulled forward?

It should be that when you pull the stalk towards you the front wiper/headlight wiper operate, away from you for the rear wiper. It hasn't just rewired itself, and miswiring seems quite unlikely.

Has it been dismantled? Has any other electrical work been done near relays or fusebox?
Some history would be useful. I'm also wondering whether it could also be changed by programming the computer? If you don't have any history I would join a volvo forum and seek further advice before you start dismantling the stalk wiring.
not sure where you are in the world so here are a couple

My wipers wont switch off on my v70..will increase speed via stalk but wont stop..is this a relay or a new stalk

I would check the relay by pulling it and swapping another in it's place but it is probably an issue with the stalk

Window wiper problem

Hello I have a saab 9.3 SS 04 and had the same problem.

- intermittent wipe doesn't work, at all
- windscreen washers don't work, at all
- "normal" continuous, and fast wipe work, but the wipers
freeze in the middle of the windscreen if you let go of the
control stalk, rather than sweeping back to the resting position
- same "freeze" happens with the manual wipe (push down on the control stalk)

The weird thing is that, this morning, for about 10 minutes, it seemed to fix itself,
partially - the washers started working etc - but the intermittent wipe still didn't work. However not long after that it went back to the symptoms described above.
also if I unplugged my car battery for a minute the washers worked for several seconds but again same problem occurs.

Solution is to replace your wiper motor. its that "simple"
worked for me. The wiper motor has a lot of electronic stuff and seems to control the washer engine.
Good luck.
