I took my pontiac to an auto parts store to get a diagnostic test and the machine won't read, and i got it done by someone else and it does the same thing.
Is there a service light on??? And is there issues with your engine??? Also check the trip ammeter, hit it three times to see if your out of engine oil life. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.
Have you had the electronic engine control system scanned/tested for fault codes? It will need to be scanned to obtain the fault codes, this is key to finding out what the problem may be that is causing the stall. The fault code test can be done free of charge by any Autozone auto parts store, Aamco transmission or Kragen/Oriley auto parts store. Ask for a "OBD2" (on board diagnostics generation 2) fault code test.
