WHY DONT I GET SPARK ON MY SPARKPLUGS - 2001 Opel Corsa 1.4

you need a new valve cover gasket

turn your key to the on position and see if you hear the fuel pump kick on, if so and you have gas in the vehicle then you should check to see if you have spark at the plugs. you can remove the sparkplugs one by one and check for spark by grounding out the end of the plug and cranking for just a few seconds. if you dont have spark it will be in either the spark plugs, the plug wires, or the coil packs.

i dont know if your vehicle has coils but it could be a bad coil. your spark could also be fouling out. is your chack engine light on? where is the oil the spark plug? the insulator or the ignitor?

USE A SPARK PLUG WIRES BOOT PULLER.THE BOOT PULLER CAN GO TIGHT PLACES WHERE YOUR HANDS CANT REACH.ONCE YOU REMOVE SPARK PLUGS WIRES REPLACE THEM.SOME PLUG WIRES WILL BREAK AWAY FROM THE BOOT WHEN REMOVING SPARK PLUGS WIRES.DONT REMOVE OLD PLUG WIRES IF YOU DONT HAVE NEW SET PLUG WIRES ON HAND.BECAUSE YOU WILL DISABLE VECHICLE.IF COUPLE OLD PLUGS WIRES BREAK WHILE REMOVING THEM YOU WILL BE 2 PLUG WIRES SHORT AND YOU CANT DRIVE VECHICLE THAT WHY HAVE NEW SET OF PLUG WIRES ON HAND.

YOU HAVE TO REMOVE COIL PACK WITH PLUG BOOTS ATTACH TO COIL ASSEMBLY FROM TOP OF VALVE COVER.YOU HAVE 4 SCREWS ON CENTER TOP VALVE HOLDING COIL PLUG BOOTS ASSEMBLY IN PLACE. ONCE YOU REMOVE COIL PACK ASSEMBLY WITH PLUG BOOTS.THE SPARK PLUGS UNDER THE COIL ASSEMBLY.YOU CAN REMOVE SPARK PLUGS.FROM TOP VALVE COVER WHERE YOUR COIL PACK COME OUT.YOU NEED DEEP 6" INCH SPARK PLUG SOCKET AND EXTENSION TO LOOSEN AND REMOVE SPARK PLUGS. YOU NEED SPARK PLUG GAP GAUGE.YOU NEED TORQUE WRENCH.NOT MANDATORY LONG AS YOU DONT OVER TIGHTEN SPARK PLUGS.STRIP THREADS.IN HEADS

Spark Plugs are under the Ignition Coils,middle of valve covers

sparkplugs are under bonnet in the top of the engine you need a plug socket to remove them but dont forget which leads go where or car wont start after

itsounds like an immobillzer problem is the yellow key light on the instrument panel lighting up if not thats why there is no spark and i bet u dont hear the fuell pump running either

i think it is a cummins.......it is a diesel......it doesnot have sparkplugs..........

diesel engines donot have spark plugs....the fuel "diesel" is compressed inside the engine as a result the air heats up and wham the diesel turns into fire...........

if the sparkplugs dont spark, you will never get the car started. it needs the spark to initialize combustion. replace all sparkplugs and try again. press the petrol pedal twice while cranking, and hold it down the third time, or else you will flood the carbutattor, and will not start either. if the car does not have electronic ignition, check the ''points''. good luck
