SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Corolla

Look thru the grill area at the front of the car. You will sea a radiator-looking thingy. This is the coindenser for the A/C system. Look closely for any indentations or holes... Usually, if there is a hole, it will be oily around that area where the hole is. The condenser is very susceptible to getting perforated, and as soon as a hole pierces the aluminum, the gas will escape. The condenser is very difficult to repair, if not impossible.

SOURCE: BOTH driver's and passenger's side sun visors have broken.

You have the right to contact the BAR (the automotive repair policing agency) on innapproriate help from car service shops. Whether or not it is under warranty, does not mean you do not get these fixed. Do your homework. Check ALLDATA for any TSB's (technical service bulletins) on your car and find out if there is one on defective sun visors. If there is no TSB, check again in the future, If enough people complain to Toyota coprporate, then it will become a new TSB and you will get it repaired for free, whetether warrantied or not. In the meantime, you need a "Magiver" mechanic or handyman that can make your sun visors work for the time-being. As for the people who told you the lie about customer loyalty, I would go to the dealer and get that repeated to your face and get the person's name and write to Toyota on your bad experience (CC to the manager of this place too). Good luck.

You need to replace the spark plug tube seals in the valve cover. Very easy once you get the valve cover off. Make sure you get the valve cover gasket kit that includes the tube seals. Victor Reinz makes it: Part number VS50059

SOURCE: 2006 Toyota siena power folding

Hello 1dotandbob.

Sorry to hear of your dilemma. Sounds like a rather expensive fix.
I have not experienced this problem as yet so I am unable to assist without further investigation.
I will check on a couple of mechanic sites to see if other techs have come up with a fix.

Here is the service bulletin you requested.
I will add more information as I find it...If it is available.

Thank you.

Is there a recall on frame on my 2004 chevy colorado frame is rusting out has holes in frame

rust is from the salt used on winter roads and there is no recall for that problem
as the repair will cost more than the car is worth , consider updating to a rust free model

Where do the the splash guards go on a 2001 ford expedition xlt?

They can be a part of the off-road package. If you are talking about the metal shields which attach to the frame, they have bolts which attach through the shield and into clips that are attached to the frame.

I had to replace several of the clips due to rust. I can tell you that they are similar to fender clips and the thread of the bolts must match the thread of the nut on the clip. Mine were off a 1999 F150 and some snapped off and others stripped and had to be ground off.

You will find the number of holes in the shield will be matched by the number of bolts and fender clips you will need. Some fender clips are made different widths to accomodate how far the clips need to be inserted to line up. All clips are the same size for your truck.

The entire front and rear frame of my son's 2002 trailblazer is rusted so much that he was advise to get it to an individual to have the frame repaired and be very careful and not hit any pot-holes on the...

And I told him not to take that thing in the ocean!!! If the frame is that bad, there is no fix, I would ,, well, I can't tell you what I would do, you might do it. But, I have trashed cars like that before, there is no replacing the frame, It would be cost prohibitive, even if you had a shop and a new frame, the labor would be more than the truck is worth. If it was a 65 GT 350 mustang, I would say go ahead. But not the 2002 trailblazer. I don't know why it rusted so bad, they must be salting the roads more than you think. Hope this helps.

I suppose that the required quality of the frame repair depends partly on how much you plan to stress the frame before you have the opportunity to do a complete repair. I suggest you take it easy on the truck (don't go wheeling) until the frame is fully repaired and reinforced.

Truck has clunking sound when driven on rough road or bumps 92 ford 2 wheel drive 302 super cab

Is the clunking form the body reaction to the bumps or is through the transmission. What ever sounds like some rubber is missing. Look at frame to body mounts, spring to frame mounts and anti roll bar mounts, basically anything that isolates something that moves from something that should be solid. On the transmission look at rubber prop couplings and universal spiders along with gearbox and engine mounts. Finally check the shock absorber mounts for wear
