I have a 2004 hyundai sonata 4cyl manual trans. my car cranks but it wont start i replaced the fuel pump but its not that. I there are no broken belts and i replaced the crank shaft sensor and the timing is good. i did notice that it had no spark so i replaced the coils, spark plugs, and the spark plug wires and yet still no spark. at this point i have no idea what could be wrong. I appreciate any help.
No spark? Then there is probably no signal to trigger the spark. Possible causes:
1) Cam position sensor.
2) Crank position sensor (you replaced it)
3) Coils (already replaced)
3) Wiring and connections to and from coils (bad grounding points or bad live feeds)
Suggestion: Stop the guessing and spending with "probable" causes. Have the car scannned for error codes and start from scratch according to error codes.
Check the Main Relay and it's fuse. That will cause a no start problem.
Hope this helps.

hi there, you need to make sure all wires to spark plugs are tight and very snug, you will also need to check the distributer cap to make sure no burns are on it, and make sure the plugs are in proper firing positions, the spark rotation might be out of sequence.....also make sure spark plugs are clean of all oil, and dirt, firing pin in distributer cap might be bad.....hope this helps....shia

if jump time that should be it timing marks and the tensioner are to lined up an also install new tensioner and recommend water pump if driven by the timing belt. if it has bent valves cause you jump time usually the car won't trun over at all.
