all spark plugs on gas engines are in the cylinder head.
they can be only 2 places there, (side or top)
1.6L
G16B, are all on the top.
if G16,
my guess, is g16ID engine, DOHC
and is MPI injected
and has , my guess, 4 cop coils on top, that youve never seen before, right>? and each "coil over plug", hides all spark plugs from causual sight, right?
we remove them first , 1 by one, the cops,
just like on all suzuki engines with COPS,

why not rent a scan too.
the 1.6 liter is the suzuki G16 engine.
i have vast data on it, and full shop manuals and parts lists.
and lots more.
the G16 has a distributor.
the J18 has NON, called DIS, (distributor-less ignition systems)
the J18 has cops. coil over plugs. times 4.
if it dont start. why not rent a scan tool..
want to work blind with EFI>? why to that and go broke.

The 1999 (1996 and up ) usa cars, all run OBD2 PCMs
and all will scan with any OBD2 scanner made here.
even the $10 on fleabay work, need photos of it working have them. lots.

the 1995 sidekick is PRE OBD2, ECU. and is OBD1,
OBD1 prototcal was never published by suzuki so no scan tools work.

one reason they went bankrupt here, id bet. like nails in a coffin.
what you do is use the FLASH codes ,just like all cars that era.

not only can you not communicate, heck , you can even plug the
scan too in. there is no 16pin OBD2 connector on this car.

what country? having the connector does NOT mean it complies
with USA OBD2 systems and tools, so not posting country , all answers are impossible. if you google the you will see that repeated like 1million times.
LHD or right hand drive?
if in USA, LHD all cars here are OBD2 16pin Dshell connectors.
and 100% OBD2 compliant.
and are all 1 meter steering wheel center , but sady that is like 10 places. i can sniff any out i 5min flat with a flash light.

just don't worry about it, had two suzuki vans ,apv and carryvan 1999 both are with the problem you pointed out , Itook to the dealer they couldn't fix.

YOU NEED CODE SCANNER, THAT WILL CODE SCAN BOTH OBD 1 AND OBD2 CARS ON BOARD COMPUTER SYSTEMS.94 CAR YOU NEED OBD 1 SCANNER YOU HAVE 12 TERMINAL DLC PLUG UP SYSTEM.

Install the timing belt on the sprockets so that there is no slack in the drive side of the belt (1), then install the tensioning assembly...
