Sounds like glow plugs or primary injectors

If you're finding it difficult to service/repair
your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus I know a website that has very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime.

2006 Dodge Ram 2500, A/C blows hot at idle & blows cold at highway speed, has new compressor, any solutions?

i had the same problem in my 2003 Durango!!
turns out the auxiliary fan was not working!!
that fan should run all the time when the a/c is on!!
so start the truck, turn the a/c on and then go look at the aux fan (the plastic electric one attached to the radiator) and make sure it is spinning!!

99 ram diesel wont start

Did you check to see if there is power to the glow plugs if not then that may be the problem and if there is power when you cycle the key not to start but for the plugs to warm up you may have a bad glow plugs.

Cummins Diesel losses accelerator mostly when weather is cold

this is referred to as a drive by wire system. meaning you have no accel cable. it uses a sensor on the gas pedal and on the pump. probably the pedal sensor going bad need to check the code and go from there
