Saturn, sl 1991.
it has antomatic transmission.
so does it shift funny,????
if not reset the PCM (TCM) and see if the codes return.
if yes, they are real.
the car has this book, called a FSM , it shows every step to take
for each code. the Factory service, manual, if you beg GM , they might help, dont know.
Here in town only the Buick dealer touches Saturns....

i think you counted the flash wrong on 97 ,zero posts world wide. on that is my clue.
what makes you thing those are trans codes>? (shoe drops)

if not wrong you have an AOD or AODE

a short is likely.

gess hope u are not driving this with a fuel leak, it will ctach fire, have seen it happen, destroys thge car, check the fuel lines behind the fuel injection on the top of engine, fuel line coupler O rings may be leaking

I had a problem with gauges and even the digital speedometer on a 1988 Lincoln. It turned out to be the alternator. The alternator was leaking a charge into the body of the car and all the guages went goofy. Have an autoparts store hook a meter to your car to check the alternator.

Here are pictures for 1990 Lincoln Town Car Relay/Fuse box under the hood....which may or may not help. It has 40 amps for the heater blower and nothing having to do with A/C in this box

Make sure the vehicle has had a tune up, Spark plugs and wires. Check PCV valve. ETC. ALso may want to run diags on it with OBD code reader to see if it is pulling codes that just arent' showing on CEL(Check engine light)
