What is the air bag pressure setting on an 1989 Chevy 3500

you have a shorted out wire somewhere in ur steering column to check this ull have to have the steering wheel pulled which is not a easy task without proper tools and a puller or have to replace column i would disconect battery till problem is sovled as may catch fire and if eqiuped with air bag could set that off in ur face ...good luck

Your belt routing should be on a diagram on either the fan shroud, or the core support. However, this routing depends on whether or not your truck is equipped with a/c. Either way a belt routing diagram should not be difficult to locate.

Gasoline I assume?? The timing is probably way off. Using the mark on the harmonic balancer and set to 0. Rotate the distributor so that the rotor is touching the #1 cylinder. Try to start vehicle, if starts, then use a timing light and set to spec by rotating distributor in very small increments. Tighten distributor. A service manual will help and they run ~$20 at any parts store.

you will need to rebleed them. Air is in the lines is causing the pressure differences.

should be a fuse for it, if not some are off if no pass. in in the seat ,sensor of weight in seat is off on switch, try fuse first ,then check the mirror for off on air bag, hope this is some help,thanks robert b.

On the side of the tranny there is supposed to be 2 plugs, one near top and one near bottom, the one near the top is where you fill it.

rear of intake manifold, approx center. U will need a special oil sender socket to replace it

it takes a special puller to remove the steering wheel. the air bag just pops out with a release tool in the release hole on the side of the steering wheel
