I had the same problem got to put it on a dioniostic computer and have them relearn the sensor to your car thats what i had to do .
There is a tsb on your uplander and it has to be reflashed once the crank position sensor was replaced
Why did you replace the sensor one time?
Was it component tested & fail a test?
You do realize codes have nothing to do with telling
you that you have a problem or what they are
Both sensors may be fine & just doing their job of reporting
an out of range condition to the computer,thus the codes
Need factory diagnostic charts to diagnose
Google why you would have whatever codes you got
& your vehicle to see if there are know fixes

Tha crank position sensor On your astro is located.
On front of the engine on timing cover, left side.
Behind the crankshaft pulley. with a connector of 3 wires.

coil pack and DIS module, mounted in engine block.

A
magnetic crankshaft sensor (Hall Effect switch) is used which is
remotely mounted on the opposite side of the engine from the DIS/IC
module. The sensor protrudes in to the engine block, within about 0.050
in. (1.27mm) of the crankshaft reluctor.
