If one of the o rings on the fuel pump moved when you installed the new pump that may cause you to have no fuel pressure. i have had the same problem once before and it was one of the o rings on the fuel pump. lubricate the o rings with vasaline before installing

SOURCE: Toyota Avalon XLS 2000 Fuel Gauge and Compass

the other areas the fault could be located are in your meter circuit plate (which is part of your combination meter), it could be in the wiring, or possibly your multi display (also part of your combination meter)

The first thing to do is try another key. Perhaps your transponder key has failed.
You can identify a 'transponder key'; it has a wide part wher you turn it.

SOURCE: i have a 1998 toyota avalon xls the heat and a/c stop working

See toyota technical service bulliten AC005-99.
This is a expensive repair but if you just unplug the the air inlet servo motor(behind the glove box )
the air should start to work but without fresh/recirc control.

SOURCE: how to reset the check engine light on a 1999 toyota avalon xls

You need to have a code reader/scan tool hooked up to retrieve the code/s that triggered the engine light. You can have this done at most auto parts stores for free. Try Auto zone, Checkers, Napa, or Murray's. The engine light will eventually go out if the computer does not receive any codes after many cycles turning the ignition on and off. It will not go out if there are codes still present. After you've retrieve the code/s bring them back here and we will have a better understanding of what caused them.

2007 Toyota Avalon XLS. How to bleed the ABS brake system please? Non VSC.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

Best way is to use a pressure bleed system which adds brake fluid under pressure from the caliper and up the the reservoir.

1997 Toyota Avalon. Problem: Mornings, won't start until repeated cranking warms engine a bit, then holds idle well (without pedal assistance) and starts and runs flawlessly all day.

Fuel pressure regulator may not be working properly, allowing fuel pressure to bleed off overnight. Try (before going to crank position on key) turning the key on for 3 - 5 seconds, then back off. Do this three or four times. (The fuel pump will run for 3 - 5 seconds before the ECM turns it off if you don't go to the start position.) This should allow pressure to build to what is needed initially to start the engine. Now try to start normally. If this works, you need a new pressure regulator. It is located either in the fuel rail, or on the fuel pump itself.

Why doesn't it start?

Is your fuel pump working? Any possibility that when yoo worked on car the circuit for the fuel pump was disconnected? Is your fuel rail pressurized? Have spark? Crankcase sensor working?

Toyota camry was running fine now it won't start when i jump it the car stalls and won't start

Could be either a fuel delivery problem or an ignition problem. Replace the fuel filter and check for correct fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Replace the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and pickup strainer as necessary. If the fuel pressure is correct at the fuel rail, begin diagnosing for an ignition system issue.

Truck dies after it runs for awhile

check inside the frame rails (inside). there is a screen on the fuel pump and usually a filter in-line on one of the fuel rails. if not, follow the fuel line into the engine compartment and you should find it.
