THE MOST COMMON CAUSE OF THE HORN NOT WORKING IS THE ROTATING RIBBON CONTACT UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL CALLED THE CLOCK SPRING, IT IS A COILED UP RIBBON WIRE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE HORN AND THE CARS WIRING HARNESS. HAVE LOCAL SHOP CONFIRM THIS. IF YOU WANT TO FIX IT YOURSELF YOU MUST DISARM THE STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED SRS AIRBAG, FAILURE TO SO THIS WILL CAUSE SERUOUS INJURY SHOULD THE AIRBAG GO OFF UNEXPECTEDLY.

Miata mx5 horn does not work

The fuse is the most likely problem. The fuse for the horn is the same as for the stop lights. 15 amp fuse located in the fuse box under the dash on the drivers side. If it's blown and it fails again once you replace it, the horn is bad.

Horn keeps going off on its own and wont stop have to pull out relay to make it stop

Replace the horn assembly or foam peices in the center of your steering wheel. The foam that keeps the contacts apart deteriorate over time and makes the horn go off. You can go and get the parts from a salvage yard or order a new part from Mazda.

Horn and cruise control stopped working

The horn probably got water in it and this caused it to rust around the electro-magnet inside causing it to seize up. Replace the horn.
