I suggest scanned the computer car in order to know what fault code is store there; just with this code could send other details.

SOURCE: Orange check engine light fpr 2005 toyota corolla

An orange check engine light means there is an electronic failure in the engine control system. It could be anything from a loose fuel cap, to a bad sensor on the engine. It is not an emergency, but you should get it checked out. A red engine light is an emergency and requires you to immediately stop the car. Yellow is a warning.

SOURCE: how to take out and reinstall new axle on 1996 toyota corolla,

1. Jack up and support car on jack stand. Make sure to chock wheels and or lock the parking brake on.
2. Remove wheel
3. Remove cotter key, castle lock and nut at center of rotor that attaches the axle. - If you lack and impact gun to remove this - it is easier to loosen this nut with all of the wheels on the ground.
4. Remove outer tie rod from spindle, Tap out with hammer. Should not require much force.
5. Remove the single bolt from the lower ball joint and separate from spindle.
6. Pull axle out of spindle and remove from transmission. This may require you to drive this out with a hammer and punch ( I use a brass punch), make sure not to damage threads if you intend to reuse the axle.

To install reverse the procedure. Make sure to replace any cotter key removed with new ones during install.

Torque specs you need are

Ball Joint to Spindle = 91 ftlbs
Tie rod to spindle = 36 ftlbs
Drive axle hub nut = 166 ftlbs

SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Corolla Car Alarm Problem

you may have to disconnect the battery for a minute or so ,this will reset the alarm. check your remote it does have a battery in it. otherwise you have to look for a fuse somewhere under the dash close to the fuse box.each one is diff. depending if it original toyota or aftermarket alarm.

Hi,
Those belt that came loose are power steering belt and alternator belt.
One of the belt might broke off and needs replacement and the other one might only been dislocated and came out from the pulley, either way, you have to check first the condition of the remaining belt if it needs to be replace too.
You could ask your dealer or any toyota parts dealer for the belts you needed.
Hope that hold everything!

Gearbox light of toyota corolla 1996 does not get on

there is a cover that pops up around the shifter.you have to put the key in the ignition setting and move it to low,not park so that the cover can be turned sideways.you will see the bulb inside.the second issue, get a scan done to see what is setting off the check engine light. before doing that, the most common is a loose gas cap,so disconnect the battery for 2 minutes.that will reset the computer.if the check engine comes on again, there is an issue,if not,the gas cap may have been loose,or a sudden change in temperature triggered an evap code....cheers
