Have you checked your "knock sensor" or cam sensor? It tracks cam and or crank movement for timing.

You probably need to check the timing and make sure the marks line up properly.

Hello I have 1998 nissan altima and my question is, what would cause me to lose all electrical power? No dash lights and wont crank.

Sounds like a failed alternator to me. The alt powers everything when running. If failed the battery takes over, then dies leaving no power source and no start. Charge the battery start the car and put a volt meter across the battery. When running it should read 13.5 to 14.5 volts. If it is reading around 12, your alternator has failed.

93 nissan altima died on the road, won't turn

If it just up and died on the road and will not turn over now even with a jump it almost sounds like you engine may have locked up on you. But it is hard to tell without actually seeing the car. For your sake I do hope it is a different problem. I would like to help you out more. Can you be more specific as to what the car did when it quit on you? Did it make any sounds or anything? Did it quit when you where actually driving or were you sitting some place at an idle? I look forward to hearing from you.

Ok so I bought a 2002 Nissan altima my husband drove it 15 miles filled up gas and drove approx 5 and it died - bad fuel pump.... We replaced the fuel pump but still having drive for awhile and die issues....

theres nothing wrong with the fuel pump..did you test the mass air floww sensor or have the egr valve replaced..it will save you trouble from keeping your 2002 nissan altima from dying out.

When driving the radio died then the car died wouldnt start again wont even turn over

It sounds like your alternator went bad. The alternator is responsible for keeping your battery charged and at full power. If it goes bad, your battery eventually drains and things start to shut down.
Get your alternator and battery tested, I'm sure you'll find the alternator has died.
