2000 escort diesel van.interior heater has stopped working,checked fuse and its not that.any ideas ? any thoughts.cheers

sounds like cylinders are full of diesel you need to pull injectors to relieve pressure on cylinder.. it causes it to lock the engine up .. you might have left the key on with a leaking injector and filled the cylinder with diesel and then it would lock you engine.

change engine on my 1.8d van after fitting the engine now the van wont crank over

check the fuse and replace the blower

ford courier workhorse ,great van ---right when engine is hot feel the hoses that run into the heater ,also it could be the heater core was leaking and someone has joined the hoses together .if the hoses are connected and they are hot then ,try removing them and then flushing the heater with a hose pipe

my escort ven w reg the wiring has melted, it kept blowing the fuse (22) position 20apm fuse then i could smell burning and some smoke was coming out of my bonnet, i've had a look and traced the wire to a plug that goes to my diesel pump, any idea;s??!!

Check your fuel pump and the starter. It's either of the two that has fault.

try putting a 12v feed to the heater fan, if it works, you have a problem with your wiring, if it doesnt work, your blower is faulty.

this is a similar problem to the one i had, it sounds like the fuse box may be breaking down one by one, usually means a replacement fuse box

What year and was anything been done before the problem started?
