Don't think changing either the belt or the alternation would cause those changes. You must have moved or damaged something else in the process. Just what, I have no clue.

P0320 KIA - Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit

Possible causes - Faulty Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor
- Faulty Crankshaft Position sensor
- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor harness is open or shorted
- Ignition/Distributor engine speed sensor circuit poor electrical connection
- Low battery charge
- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

Possible low fuel pressure or restricted catalytic converter. Have fuel pressure and exhaust back pressure checked.

There is a cleaning solution at Autozone that isn't very expensive. I have also heard rubbing alcohol but I have never tried it.

Check fuel flow and pressure , if pressure is low check fuel pump. if flow is low replace fuel filter.

just happened to my 05 Kia Optima. It needed a new coil pack.

cylinder 1 misfire change spark plugs i just had that problem. you can still drive it it wont hurt the engine.

it really depends on the engine (l4 or v6) and where you are. california orices i would say around $450 -$600(private or dealer and L4) - $800-$1000(private or dealer v6). it is not a very complicated job, however if you screw up you can bend valves so timing and information IS critical for a do it yourself er. since i believe you are talking about an overseas model the engines should be about the same and prices "close". cheers
