You may want to check your motor mounts. If the mounts are broken or just too old they will cause the engine to have excessive vibration your notice also when shifting to drive or reverse it will feel like the vehicle jumps. replacing the mounts will help if they are damaged or may be that the vehicle needs a tune up.

Hi,wich shift button are we talking abt? on the control pannel near the fan and a/c swiches or by the gear shifter? In any case if the button is supressed and the illum light in side of it will come on, that means that it in the "On" Position. If the button is poped up position or not supressed, then it is "Off" no metter wher and wich button that is. Hope that helps unless you have more detiles on it.

1. Open the fuse panel. Turn the knob on the fuse panel cover counterclockwise or push in on the release tabs on the fuse panel cover (depending on the year of your Toyota), and pull down on the fuse panel cover.
2. Pull the fuse for the sunroof out of the fuse panel using the fuse pullers in the fuse panel. Use the diagram on the underside of the fuse panel cover if you are having trouble locating the fuse for the sunroof.
3. Check the metal strip in the middle of the fuse. The strip should not be burned or damaged. If it is, replace it with a fuse of the same amperage.
4. Check the recessed track of your sunroof. Clear away any debris that may be stuck in the sunroof's track. Use engine degreaser and a wire brush to clean the track of dirt. Then, wipe the track down with clean paper towels.
5. Apply hard grease to the sunroof wheels and track so that the sunroof can move easily once again.

It has to be leaking somewhere. Check all underneath, especially the back of rear drums for a wheel cylinder leak. Replace both rear wheel cylinders, if you find one is leaking.

Was it just the dome light draining the battery? Next time, take off the neg. battery cable, or remove the bulb.How far did you get with the panel? Once the panel is out of the way, you can open the door latch manually. Or maybe can put the inside handle back on to open door?

they are called control links one to the outside handle and one to lock cylinder

32mm.or 34mm. Go to auto parts store and borrow both to make sure. They are high $$$$

Yea you can i wouldnt suggest it unless you want to put a head gasket in it also

sounds like the alternator isnt making enough amps. maybe its a bad rebuil. also a worn belt will slip on alternator under heavy load. check belt and tentioner.
