My 93 celica gt 2.2
You guys are having an ignition misfire. Start by replacing the plugs, (ONLY use NGK plugs on a Japanese vehicle. There's a reason Bosch plugs are so cheap) and gap them correctly. If you have a cap and rotor in your distributor, replace them, too. If that doesn't do it, check the plug wires for cracks, scoring, or arcing (will look like chalk dust).
After all that, check the wiring from the coil and the coil itself. It could be something as simple as a corroded contact that needs to be cleaned.
Good luck!
Celica convertible 1985 WIN NUMBER
I think you are looking for the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). If this is right and there was a translation or typing error then here are a couple of other locations for the VIN besides the engine. It can be found on a plate on the driver's side door and on a plate on the dash in the lower corner of the windshield on the driver's side.
Starts with starting fluid runs briefly, guessing fuel filter/pump
i had an ra65 celica.... fuel pump shat its self and bad news its located in the tank im sure i dropped the tank down to get to it but pull up the carpet in the back n check 4 an inspection plate... take a fuel line off the engine put some rag over it n get some one to turn the ignition on n with a working fuel pump you should have fuel **** out if not your pump is faulty or your wiring is corroded or damaged.. also check fuse..good luck
