My car has been sitting for 2 years and won't start. The engine turns over but it sounds like not getting gas. I read somewhere to spray gas starting inside air intake valve. Where is the air intake v

Safer is to use 'carburetor cleaner' which is also flammable but a little less dangerous than using gasoline. After sitting a long time, our modern gasoline gets tired; never allow something to sit so long without adding some 'fuel stabilizer.'If possible with your car, I would drain (siphon) the tired gas out and replace it with a few gallons of fresh.Really tough starting problems can also be overcome with 'starting fluid' which is pure ether and very flammable.Any of these may require the removal of the engine air filter so the liquid gets into the intake manifold.Stale gasoline can also gum up the fuel injectors which may have to be removed for service if none of the fluids causes the engine to fire.

I have a 2005 S Type Jaguar. The ABS light remains

On the later S types, the two 8mm headed bolts that hold the trans cable to the side of the transmission work loose and at times completely fall out. Give those bolts a look before replacing anything..Determine that the transmission is actually going in to gear when the gear selector is moved.
Don't worry about the surface rust on the rotors, this will happen on any car that is not driven daily in salty conditions. The ABS light is probably a sensor, the system will need to be scanned to detect the problem...I hope this helps.

Right headlight not working.

If you have a standard halogen light, it probably needs to be replaced as the brights can still function when the low beam goes out. To replace the standard halogen light, First you need to remove the plastic retainers on the upper radiator support. Then locate the bulb cover and rotate it 1/4 turn to remove it. Disconne?t the bulb connector and push the retaining clip in and away from the hook. Slide the bulb out paying attension to the locating tab. Install the bulbs the same way as removed. It is a very tight fit and small hands are a plus

How to reset service light

I think the following will work:

1 . Insert key into ignition barrel.
2 . Press and hold the Reset switch (located on the Trip Computer Switchpack).
3 . NOTE: The reset switch has to be released immediately after the ignition is switched 'ON'. This is critical to enable the rest of the procedure.
Turn the key to Ignition position II and at the point of entering Ignition position II (i.e when a click is heard), instantaneously release the Reset switch.
4 . Wait one second.
5 . Press and hold the Trip switch (located on the end of the left-hand side stalk).
6 . Wait one second.
7 . Press and hold the Reset switch (whilst still holding the Trip switch).
8 . The cluster should display (within three seconds) the warning message 'RESETTING SERVICE MODE'.
9 . Keep both buttons pressed until the warning message changes to 'SERVICE MODE RESET' (after ten seconds).
10 . Once the message is displayed the buttons may be released â€" sequence is now complete.
11 . If a Service Required message was displayed prior to the reset sequence, cycle the ignition to 'Off' and then back to Ignition position II and check that the message is no longer displayed.

"Fault, Parkingbreak", yellow engine light. How

You need to sort out the yellow light which could be either fluid level or wear on the brake blocks or pads. The parking brake should operate on a cable that can be adjusted to release, or you need to release the brake fluid by turning the bleeding nipple.
