1990 Buick electra hard time starting
You should disconnect your battery and clear the module by taking the positive battery cable and touching it to the negative post or ground. Now make sure that everything is off and try to reconnect the battery cable without making the connection spark. If this does not work you may have to take it to a mechanic and have the timing, fuel etc set up on your module. Some modules are self learning and adapt to the person's style of driving.
Car breaking while driving
Replace the caliper and brake hose at that location and that should handle your problem. Don't forget to bleed the brakes.
Not getting any fire
Have you tested the system for fault codes, if not do so by following the instructions at this

You're going to have to dig into wiring. If it's both simultaneously on one side, it's likely to be ground or connection at the rear of radio. Could also be bad or dirty fader (control knob) in radio - they build up a little corrosion and loose contact.
