How do I get rotors off a 95 Dodge ram 2500 4X4
First off, don't expect them to just fall off after removing the large nut in the center of the hub. I tried that. Granted, the nut does need to come off, but, after removing the caliper, there's four more bolts that come in from the backside that also need to be removed. This then allows you to remove the front spindle, hub, and rotor as an assembly. Watch your toes! Also note how the dust shield is sandwiched in amongst all of this. Once this assembly is off, the wheel studs can be driven out with a hydraulic press (no small feat), and the rotor falls away from the hub
I have a 1995 dodge ram. Doesnt seem to be getting
See if the injectors are getting pulsed by the PCM.A set of "noid" lights aren't too expensive, and they are a quick way to check for voltage at the injector plugs.(I'm guessing there is a fuse for the injectors that is blown, you could also just use a voltmeter instead of the noid lights).Set the meter at 12 volts, hold the probes to the connector while someone cranks the engine.
I have a 1995 dodge van which wont start due to no
A test light connected across the coil primary leads should flash on + off when engine cranks(coil sparks when 12v turned OFF due to collapse of magnetic field). If you get pulsed 12 volts, and no spark from the coil, the coil is bad.If you don't get the pulsed 12 volts, trace back to find out why(the PCM turns the coil ground on and off,12 volts comes from switched IGN source)
1995 dodge 2500 diesel starts then quits
Your shutdown solenoid might be getting weak. Locate the solenoid (on or near the fuel pump) and remove it. Leave it plugged in and turn the ignition on, then see if you can pull the plunger out with your fingers. It shouldnt budge. Also, check to see if it gets hot. It sounds as though its losing its pull right after the engine starts.
