All the motors under the seat are bi-directional, meaning you can apply power (12V) on one side and ground on the other, it will turn in one direction. If you reverse the wires it will move in the opposite direction. Quite often the motors fail, but if it at least works in one direction it's usually a wiring issue. Follow the wires from the failed motor to the connector, and jumper them both. The motor should move backwards, and you'll have to find the problem in the wiring. If it doesn't move, lightly tap on the motor with power and ground supplied, if it now moves the motor is starting to fail

Passlock system indicates an error. Your BCM doesn't see the correct password. This could be the passlock sensor (most common on these vehicles).

1. The fuse for the fuel pump may have blown or the fuel pump Relay may be faulty. If you have not done this already, check the fuse and replace it if it is blown. When replacing the fuse you must use one of the correct amperage. If it requires, for example, a 15 amp fuse, that is what you must use.

If the fuse is OK then replace the Relay for the fuel pump and re-check.

The location of the fuses and relays for the vehicle are shown in your owner's manual.

2. Check the wiring to the fuel pump.

3. On further testing, the fuel pump itself may be faulty and require replacement.

Need to have a Tech II scanner (GM) identify the root cause of this problem.

needle nose pliers pull heat shield off then take a regular pair of pliers on boot and remove plug wire

Ya!!!! some of these are a bit***. you will need to twist it and work it out, you may need to replace the wire because you might have to snap the plug to get it apart or use small screw driver and try to twist bootor if any remove cut down the side of the boot.

You just have to reach under the shield and grab the boot. They are tricky to get to. But the plugs are kinda hidden. If you are changing the wires, you can just pull on the wire, then use a socket to get the plug out.
