I had the same problem, lens can not be re-insered, you have to buy a whole new assembly. About $125.00 each, they changed the adhesive on the replacement lens.

yes. you should remove the inside door panel.

to do this, remove all the screws you can see. One in the door handle, one by the mirror, then remove window crank/buttons

the take a flathead screwdriver and CAREFULLY pry the panel off. it is best to pry where the plastic pins are holding the panel on.

reverse procedure to reinstall.

I had a similar problem with my 03 i went through the stages as you did. also i had a check engine light come on the read out was for lean fuel mix. I finally figured out it was the intake gasket leaking and when the motor got warm it expanded enough to close the leak. The way i tested that was when the motor was cold i started it and sprayed carb cleaner around the gasket and it almost died out. i'm not sure if that is recommended but that is what i did. I changed the gasket and have not had another problem.

It's just above the starter with a single wire going to it,usually tan in color & screws into the engine block.Be careful,it goes into a water jacket so use a drain pan to catch the coolant.Good luck,

You have to crawl under the truck, and on the rear cover of the transfer case, there are two plugs, one near top, and one at bottom of case. The top one is where you fill it.I had a truck like yours.

under the hood is a diagram for vacum routing check all vacum lines o by the wipers the plastic griil is a kime like sink when it rains maybe is clog o you have leaves inside this grill

todays fuel pumps have the signal gauge togethoir the only way is to change the fuel pump

Personally, I would start looking at the exhaust system shields and hangers. Make sure they are secure and not too close to the exhaust components. Minimum clearance for the shields is 20mm ( roughly 3/4"). You might be able to get away with a little less, but move or bend to get additional clearance.
Also make sure the spare tire rigging is secure, always a culprit.

It is an idler pulley. Just remove the bolt throw the old piece away and put a new one on.

Buy the sensor from the dealer. Aftermarket parts will give you headaches.

the ac system has a low pressure switch when the unit is low on freon the compressor wont work . this is to keep the compressor from burning up. have your freon level checked.

it is probably the actuator located on the heater box just above the gas pedal,. it can be done just takes a little time

I had this same problem on my 2003 Chevy Silverado. It is the resistor pack that is bad. Not the switch or the knob that you turn. It is loacated on the passanger side underneeth the glove box. You have to take a cover off to replace it. This is a dealer item, so you will have to get it from a GM dealer parts dept. You will also have to replace the plug that goes to it as it will be overheated. The resistor pack was about 69.00 but the plug was outrageus about 160.00. I chose not to use the plug.
Soldered on some wires directly to the resistor pack and then soldered them to the wires on the truck. Good Luck

Are 2 step to RESET the engine oil on your chevy 02.

The first one ..
Turn the key to RUN position. Engine OFF.
Them FULLY PRESS and REALESE the ACCELERATOR PEDAL
For 3 times between 5 seconds and wait until the Change OIL start blinking and goes OFF.

Now the System is reset.

The second step is.

2-- This procedure need the RADIO, if you have an aftermarket
Radio you don't be able to do.
Turn the ignition switch to ON position,
turn OFF the RADIO,
Press and hold the Tune disp, button for 5 seconds or until
Settings is displayed,
Press the seek ptype or seek pscan up and dow to scroll the main menu,
Scroll until the OIL LIFE appear on display
Press the 1prev or 2next to scroll the sub menu, RESET will be displayed , Press the TUNE disp buttom to reset,
A chime will be heard to verify the new settings and done
Will be displayed for one second.
Press the TUNE DISP to exit from the program,
A chime will be heard to verify the exit.
