There are a great number of things that would cause the problem you are having. You can check your fuel pressure regulator and fuel system for proper pressure and volume. You can also have the ignition control module tested. Another possibility may be a failing crank or cam position sensor. Visualy inspect the harneses for all of these componets for damage. Finaly perform a wiggle test while the vehicle is running to find bad connections.

I have a 94 lumina van tha ac pull is shot how do

The freon has to be recovered before removing the a/c compressor. There is a special machine that does this. You can not just remove the hoses. They are under pressure and if you get freon in your eyes you could go blind. You can have a shop recover the system and then you can remove the compressor and then fix it but you need special tools to remove the pulley also. Then once you have it back together you can have them recharge it.On some of these they give you enough room to remove the pulley without taking the compressor off.Hope this helps.Good luck.

It dies when put in gear.

if you leave it in park and pump the gas peddle a few times does it choke itself into a stall? if so then check and replace the air filter, its probably long overdue to be replaced

94 chevy lumina apv door will not open most of the time

since it is the drivers front door it could be the outside door handle , the rod that goes from the handle to the lock asbly or the lock asbly its self take the door trim panel off and then loos inside the door and latch the door with the door open. open the door with the outside door handle and watch the rod and the lever that the rod is pushing down the lever might not be pushing the lever down far enough to release the lock. If the lock does not open try pushing down on the lever and see if the lock releases if it does ck the outside door handle for cracks along the hinges of the handle I have found that most of the time that it is the outside door handle cracked and the rod is not moving the lever far enough to release the lock.

I cannot find where to fill the rear windshield washer.

All washer fluid comes from the same reservoir. If your not getting washer fluid to the rear washer, it could either be a plugged or broken washer fluid line, or rear washer fluid pump.

At the carb fuel intake there is a fine screen to keep the debris that might form in the fuel tank out of the carb. It sounds like that might be the problem.

94 LuminaAPV wont start --Sometimes

When you replaced the ECM, did you use a nice coating of di-electric grease? That helps distribute the heat from the ecm so it doesn't over heat. Also check your ignition wiring going from the battery to the ignition switch. Check for any loose or broken connections. A local shop can help you find wire shorts BUT BE ADVISED, Most shops charge a $70 an hour fee to diagnose electric problems. Thats not to fix, only find problems. I highly recommend a self search first.

I removed the injector and fuel regulator assembly

Yes, if everything is still connected properly, except that the injectors are no longer seated int he valve head, then you should see little spurts of gas coming from them when the engine turns over.

Be aware though, that it might not be your fuel injectors that are the problem. You need to finish checking the rest of the car before making that assumption.

Once you know the injectors aren't firing, you need to check the fuel filter and the fuel pump to make sure the gas is getting from the tank to the injectors.

You should have a fuel filter located on the passenger side of your car near the gas tank. Follow the gas lines under the car to find it. It is good to change it anyways, but you can check to see if gas is coming from the tank to the filter by removing the rear line

** BE CAREFUL, Gasoline is EXTREMELY irritating to the eyes and skin, and it WILL come out when you remove the line from the filter***

If it is coming from the tank to the filter you don't have to check your pump. Then replace the rear gas line, and remove the front gas line going to the engine and make sure the filter spits out gas while the engine turns over as well.

If there is no gas getting to the fuel filter, you will need to check your fuel pump, which should be located inside the gas tank. You can check it by getting under the car while you have a friend turn the key to the "on" position, but not starting the car. Do this 4 to 6 times to make sure you hear a little "Click, woosh" type sound that lets you know the pump is triggering.

If you have gas coming from the tank, through the filter and it is still not coming through the injectors, then you will need to rebuild your fuel injectors.

This is not hard to do, and consists mostly of changing the little gaskets in the injectors. But be aware that there are lots of small parts and the job cannot be rushed. Also be aware that lumina fuel injection systems are very sensitive. Make sure to disconnect your battery cables before removing the injectors from the system.
