2003 Dodge durango, the blower motor stoppped came back on and stopped again and never came back on. I replaced the blower motor and still no air. Can anyone help?

Hello. I assume you have a 4.7 liter engine. Here is a picture of its location:

There's a chance that the ball joints need grease. This should help, however once they have started to make noise like that due to lack of grease, they usually have gone bad. Replacement may be the only remedy. Hope this helps.

Just to clarify, the "transmission" is not stuck in 4-Lo. It is the "transfer case" that is attached to the transmission that actually engages the 4-Hi and 4-Lo modes. To properly shift your vehicle into 4-Lo, you know that you have to shift the transmission into neutral and slow down to less than 5 mph. Once your vehicle slows down to this range, your can switch your transfer case into 4-Lo mode. Due to the inner workings of the transfer case, the actual shift into 4-Lo may take a few seconds to complete. This is normal and does not signify that there is an issue. All transfer cases that have 4-Lo mode will act this way regardless of the make or model. To make a long story short, to shift out of 4-Lo you must follow the same steps that you took to shift into 4-Lo, just in reverse order. Switch the transfer case to 4-Lo mode if it isn't already there. Slow down to less than 5 mph (your vehicle must be moving, though). Then, shift your car into 4-Hi or 2WD. Give your vehicle several seconds to complete the shift. The transfer case indicator light will flash until it is complete. When it does complete the shift into the new gear mode, you will most likely hear a "clunk" (the range sleeve inside the transfer case disengages from its mating spline) from under your car. Again, any transfer case with 4-Lo (regardless of make or model) will exhibit this same noise. This should help you get out of 4-Lo. It is good practice to shift your car into and out of 4-Lo at least a few times each year to keep all of the splines free of corrosion and build-up. Based on the age of your vehicle, your transfer case may also need a complete flush and some new transmission fluid. Hope this helps.

Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow.

This indicates that a part of the EVAP control system is no longer functioning correctly. The EVAP system consists of many parts, including (but not limited to) the gas cap, fuel lines, carbon canister, purge valve, and other hoses. The (EVAP) emission control system prevents the escape of fuel vapors from a vehicle's fuel system. Fuel vapors are routed by hoses to a charcoal canister for storage. Later, when the engine is running a purge control valve opens allowing intake vacuum to siphon the fuel vapors into the engine.

EVAP emission canister purge is controlled by a valve which allows engine vacuum to pull stored fuel vapors from fuel tank into the engine to be burned, rather than be vented to atmosphere. A vacuum switch is used to detect when flow exists. If the PCM commands purge and sees that the switch is closed (indicating no detected purge flow) P0441 is set.

A code P0441 could mean one or more of the following has happened:

* Bad vacuum switch
* Broken or damaged EVAP line or canister
* Open in PCM purge command circuit
* Open or short in Voltage feed circuit to Purge Solenoid
* Faulty purge solenoid
* Restriction in EVAP solenoid, line or canister
* Corrosion or resistance in purge connector
* Bad PCM

Here are a few solutions that should be followed to fix this issue.

* Common Chrysler fix - Replace Leak Detection Pump / LDP
* Repair damaged EVAP lines or canister
* Repair open or short in voltage feed circuit to Purge Solenoid
* Repair open in PCM purge command circuit
* Replace purge Solenoid
* Replace vacuum switch
* Repair restriction in Evap line or canister or solenoid
* Repair resistance in purge connector
* Replace PCM

I have heard of this in fact, In a 2009 Journey R/T. A trip back to your dealer is in fact the best action. The one I know of had multiple electrical issues after the initial window concern within a few months. ie. wipers, signals, radio, heater not working.

A p1698 means the pcm is not recieving a bus message from the tcm. The vehicle bus is one wire that runs to each module as there means of communication. Could be a broken wire, bad connection, or possibly a bad module. Unless your pretty sure about what your doing and have some good wiring diagrams you should probably take it to your dealer.

CHANGING A FLAT TIRE

In the Durango, the scissor jack and tire changing tools
are stowed under the second row seat.
The jack is secured in place with a winged stud and a
fixed stud. It is very important to secure the jack tightly
in place by engaging the slot in the base to the fixed stud
under the middle seat. The winged stud inserts through
the eyelet in the end of the jack’s worm screw.

Basically you only see a few causes for blown bulbs. One is a loose bulb. The bulb vibrates and breaks the filament. The next is a power issue. The power is too high or varies too much and it pops. And the third is moisture inside the fixture. Most of the time it will be a loose bulb or moisture. Those you can fix with either a few tweaks on the holder so the bulb is being held tight or replacing the seal.

The current theory is that it stands for "Electric Back Light", and it controls the heated rear window.
