My 1988 mazda323 is leaking gas through the manifold

You have a miss fire. pull the spark plug wires off the plugs one at a time until one dosnt make a differance. This plug is not firing right and not burning the gas. If you get spark on the plug wire(it might shock you a little if your not carefull just hold it with one hand and dont touch the car with your other) then all you need to do is repalce the plug it self. if the wire is not sparking (if you dont hear sap sap when u pull it off) then you will need wires and maybe cap/rotor.

Warning lights coming on with nothing happening

loosen the positive battery cable.... start the car.... remove the battery cable.... if it keeps running... it's your battery failing... if it dies... it's your alternator. wear safety googles when you perform this test and it should be done outside where it is well ventilated.

Does anyone know if you need a special tool to get

No special tool is needed. You just need to remove the bolts holding on the calipper located on the back towards the engine on the A-Arm. Make sure not to loose the rubber gaskets and also make sure that you do not remove the brake line. Once the caliper is out of the way the rotor will baically fall off in your hands

Often you have an adjustment nut at the base of the lever, and the cable for the brake is attached there. By putting more tension on the nut, you can take up some slack. You may have to take part of the center console out to reach the base of the lever, but it shouldn't be difficult to do.

Mazda E-BG5P tune up specs

At an auto parts store, if you tell them the car you have (year, make, and engine), they can look up the correct one for you. If you go with the Bosch Platinum +2 or Platinum +4, they'll come pre-gapped, so you don't have to gap them yourself. I was unable to find a listing for what the proper gap is, but at the store they can either tell you or sell you a pre-gapped plug that you won't have to worry about setting.
