Mazda 323 firing order, is it clockwise on distributor cap
on the four stroke right hand ( clockwise ) turning engine the firing order is 1-3-4-2 but there are some exceptions on European model. The firing order is also clockwise set because your engine is right hand turn. For you if you like to see also what I stated you can remove the distributor cap if you know how,and by starting the engine you will see the rotor arm turning clockwise.

Renault trafic stuck in second gear
There is one of 2 problems that will give this indication. The first is the gear lever end in the shift rail has moved out of the slot and is behind the slot and not moving it . This can be checked by removing the lever mount from the top of the box and physically moving the shift rail back into the neutral position then replacing the gear lever back into the selector gate and moving the rail again.. The second possible fault is that the selector fork has come loose on the rail and is not moving the gear (just sliding on the rail) If that is the case the box will have to come out unless you can see the selector fork and the lock screws from the top of the box when the lever mount is removed.. If you can move the selector rod forward and tightening up the lock screw then pulling it back to neutral. Repeat until the fork is back in neutral position and lock it up. Most lock screws have a hole and there is wire tied around the shaft to prevent the screw coming loose. If the box has been reconditioned at some time then it is possible that the person doing the job neglected the wire bit.

MX5/ loss power on the road, now won't start ....how do I reset the car?
There is no reset. The cars engine has developed some kind of problem like loss of fuel pressure or spark. The first thing you must do is have a shop read the fault codes in the memory of the engine control module and then do the pinpoint testing required to isolate and repair the problem(s)
