Belt keeps off slipping
Hi, The pulley is out of alignment. That is why the belt comes off.
Also check for interference where belt maybe rubbing on to.

Check the heavy duty cables from the battery to the starter motor and solenoid and also the battery earthing (grounding?) - there terminals could be corroded / burned.

Windows won't go up or down
HOPEFULLY U MEAN AUTOMATICALLY OR BY REMOTE?IF SO THEN GO TO THE CAR.LOCK THROU THE CYLINDER AND HOLD THERE FOR 5 SECS.THEN UNLOCK THE CAR HOLDING THE KEY FOR AT LEAST 5 SECS.THE WINDOS MUST ROLL DOWN.IF NOT.OPEN THE CAR GET IN CLOSE DOOR.SWITCH IGNITION ON.HOLD EITHER THE 4 OR 2 SWITCHES UP.THE WINDOWS MUST ROLL UP.RELEASE AND REPEAT 5 TIMES.THEN DO THE SAME BY PUSHING DOWN THE SWITCES RELEASE AND REPEAT 5 TIMES.U SOULD NOW BE ABLE TO HAVE THE AUTO BACK ON.IF NOT THEN CHECK FOR DTCS AT COMFORT ECU.THERE FOR U.!!

2001 VW Beetle. The driver's front seat adjuster
I'm assuming you have manual adjustment seats. There is a spring underneath the seat that locks the end of the lever into corresponding notches in the seat frame rail. That spring has either fallen off or broken.
Which is the fuse number
The power roof is Fuse #30. The power windows are probably controlled by a fuse located in the small fuse panel located on top of the battery. The car's electrical system is controlled by a 110 amp fuse and circuit breaker.
Sputtering, hard start in moisture
next time it does this, try spraying wD40 on the distributor, all around it. if this fixes it, you have a crack in the distributor cover. just replace it. good luck
