When should we do a

This van came with platinum spark plugs which should be good for 100,000 miles. I would replace the fuel filter at 50,000 miles. As long as you have no running or starting problems that's all I would do in the first 100,000 miles

Heater only blows cold air. I have replaced the

When the van is warmed completely check the top radiator hose by squeezing it together. If you can squeeze it without any resistance replace the radiator cap. The coolant is not circulating properly and can keep the heater from working. If you cannot squeeze the hose together than you may have a bad water pump. The water pump has fins inside of its' case. Those fins may be rusted completely off to where the water cannot circulate. You can check the circulation by feeling the top and bottom hose coming off of the water pump to the radiator. Both those hoses should be the same temp. If not I would consider changing the water pump.

My starter keeps activating after ive started it.

Could be the ignition key/lock assembly hanging up in the "start" position. I think the older model GMC's have an adjustment on top of the steering column. A trip to your local library in the automotive section will have some repair books on this model (Chilton, Haynes...).
Good Luck.

How do you install the passenger side window. we

Its probably better to start over and remove the window glass from the regulator (use duct tape and tape in position to the window frame, it will hold fine). Remove the regulator and motor assembly and put together as a unit, then reinstall. Bolt back onto door and reattach the glass. Next time its easier to just remove the motor by itself, not the whole assembly. The rivets can be drilled out and replaced where it sits. You may have to slightly bend the corner of the inner panel to get rivets in, just bend back when done.

Where is the drain for the radiator located

look for radiator drain in underside of the radiator, look at radiator on both sides under neath the van. location will be on under side of the radiator, different models and makes makes it difficult to insure which side, driver, or passenger, just look for a release valve for radiator drain! jack it up,use a jack stand please! look on each side of the radiator for a pep **** valve, that can be turned to release the fluid to drain fluid. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com
