You can check to see if the hose clamps are tight on the filler neck and the breather hose ,i would also check the fuel filter under the car rear near tank for leak's as this can give the smell of fuel around the rear of the car . when you open the boot of the car do you smell fuel or is it only on the outside of your car????? hose clamps and fuel filter = outside of car. smell in side of trunk (boot ) fuel return line hose clamp might just need to be tightened up. you might have to remove the rear wheel and inner wheel cover to get to the Fuel tank filler to check the hose clamps.

no it means that the EVAP system has a problem with the purge valve / vent solenoid and that is an easy fix

If the battery is removed you have to re-align the windows to the fully up position. So, get the window to the top and keep your finger on the button for about 3 seconds you will hear a click. the next time you operate it will go all the way up in one go. If this does not cure it the battery connection may the problem.

You can just put neew filter on. Slightly moisten the Oring with a smear of oil and tighten it up as much as you can. Remember to top up your oil at the same time, or take the opportunity to change it if it needs changing. Good Luck

If the linkage is ok and not the cause of the mis-seating, there is a cover / cap type bit that covers the very end of the wiper arm, where it bolts to the linkage. Remove this cap / cover and there will be a nut of something like 10, 12, 13mm. Loosen this (or take off) and then you can move the wiper arm on the splined stud until it sits correctly. Ensure you bolt it back up to a similar torque and that you test for operation and the field of view it clears, before you drive. It also takes a minimal amount of movement of the arm on the stud, I tiny spline makes lots of difference at the blade end, so be gentle and ensure splines are seated correctly.

Covering the earth wire with plastic really does nothing as earlier cars used braded copper wire as an earth. What might have happened is that by removing the wire to wrap it in plastic that the corrosion in the terminal and on the battery post was up set and good contact was made. battery posts and terminals should be shiny clean and not dull grey/black as this is lead oxide that cause problems in electrical connections.

You need to first have the systems computer scanned for fault codes.

If the battery was removed, replaced, or dead; the cars computer brain needs a reset.

Check the alternator , probably it doesn't charge the battery , If the alternator is OK and the battery is 4 years or older , its time to replace it .

engine lights normally have to be cleared by resetting the CPU. use a scanner for this purpose.

Hi yes the occupancy sensor is fitted inside the seat. it is like a plastic sheat with printed circuit inside.
