for the 220cdi,it is a 611.961 motor, you have to refill 6.5 liter,included the olilfilter.Whenyou have refill,and after the motor has running,you can check the oil-level in the board-computer.

you should be able to read the engine number off the the bell housing. you may have to search around the bell housing to actually see it. typically it can be read off from above.

i have a 1994 if the dash is the same the small button on the right pull it outwards then left for hours and right for minuets thats if its the same hope this helps cheers

There is a fuse to protect the circut operating the electric steering lock.

It is located in the front, on the passenger side, right behind the strut tower under a black plastic cover.

This would be a major task for any mechanic. Are you sure its the timing chain and not a defective water pump / alternator / aircon pump rattling? Generally Benz timing chains would do 200k if properly maintained which is why I question your request? Have you done this mileage and have you had a good look at the serpentine aux drive belt?

Before removal if it is a factory unit a main franchised dealer should have the code, if not there are companies who recode them for a small fee. Cheaper than a new unit.

sounds like you have the child locks on :) Look for a small lever on the side of each door under/by the door latch. it probably shows a padlock open/closed. try moving it !

B1200 is the Climate Control Pushbutton Circuit Failure

I wish I could offer a solution but my heater fan will not run. I have replaced the regulator, checked the motor and it still runs a few seconds and stops. It starts to run when I juggle the connector wire. Maybe it is the connectors on either end?
