How to connect a new
knowing the color codes can be a great help..usually in 12v reg system,from the regulator there are 6 white wire having a stripe codes,blue means neutral,green means field,black means ground to body,white means hot wired to +12v,yellow means to bat charging indicator going to instrument panel and finally red means to ignition....and always secure the regulators case to ground.

The best idea is to access the Engine Control Module (ECM) using suitable diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector of the car, in order to pull out all DTC's memored. DTC = Diagnostic Trouble Code. Then you will bu full informed about the root cause of the problem, and you will be able to repair & replace bad pieces and reset the ECM.

I have a 2006 Isuzu
It is a bit new to have a serious oil problem.
Never heard of a "referential" seal. I am familiar with rear main seal and differential seal.
But first you need to find the leak.
The thing to do is steam clean the engine so that you can see better.
(avoid heat or water around alternator, starter, ignition, etc)
Then put cardboard under it.
Also a bad PCV can cause excess crankcase pressure that forces oil out.
Top valve cover gasket is very common.
Rear main seal will come out from bell housing bottom.
You might also want to consider thicker oil, like Castrol 20W-50.
Oil pressure sending units also often leak.
Filter could be not sealing right, due to things like left over seal, etc.
How do i change the
i think you are refering to the freeze plug, thats what we call it in the south anyway, the metal ones are a real pain in **** to replace, you may want to get an expansion plug, they have a nut on the end, u can put the plug in the desired location and simply tighten the nut to make it expand, they dont last as long as the metal ones but i put one on my 95 Z28 years ago and have had no further problems with it

May just need to adjust valves. Not sure about your oversized rings, if needed oversize should have been bored out for new pistons.
