check your suspension sys. tie rods and idler arms ball joints.

1. block rear wheels in park parking brake on
2. jack up and support car so that the front wheels are about 1 inch off the ground.
3. look over and vigorously push and pull on parts. look for loose parts.
4. grab the top of the wheel are try to wiggle back and fourth. it should not wiggle. if it do'es then your wheel bearings under the center cap on wheel are lose and need repacking and tighten, then back off 1/4 turn and insert cotter pin.
5. any movement in steering or suspension or something doesn't look right. have it checked

have this done in a shop that fits tow bars as you need a modification plate after the job is done They will also have the harness to go with the bar.

Sounds like you have stripped splines, damaged CV joint or popped axle retaining clip. jack one wheel at time, run slowly in drive with brakes off. the offending wheel will not rotate but axle will. if gearbox/diff axle should not rotate.

Hi,

To reset the service light just carry out the following instructions. This may take a couple of trys.
Make sure the doors are shut.

1) Turn key to position 2.
2) Press/release the R button to show the next service due light. Release button.
3) Turn key to Off.
4) Press and HOLD the same R button to view the service light, THEN, within 2 seconds, turn key to position 2.
5) Wait up to 10 second and the light will reset to show new service.

Yes, low transmission fluid from a leak will cause loss of gear-changing ability. Also, eventually,
if you were to try to drive the car on a dry transmission (for a distance as short as 4 blocks), you
can permanently ruin the transmission.
Most mechanics would advise you to top up the transmission fluid and drive to your nearest
transmission repair shop, where they will probably not determine the source of the problem and
fix it - most transmission shops don't repair transmissions, they simply replace them, and send
the faulty transmission to a real transmission repair shop, from which they order their rebuilt
replacement transmissions.
