The automatic vent damper unit on my Bryant 394GAW

Hello.

Vent dampers control the amount of air that flows through asection of duct work. Manual volume dampers must be adjusted by hand; automaticcontrol dampers are controlled automatically by the vent system. When a vent damper goes bad, proper airflow is no longer achieved through the duct work. You may end up with too little or too much airflow through the duct.
Instructions
1Determine if your vent damper is a manual control damper or an automaticcontrol damper. Manual dampers will have an adjustment handle on the side ofthe duct work; automatic dampers will have a control motor.
2 Follow the duct work from the damper to find outwhich registers it goes to. You will need to check the airflow out of theseregisters when the vent unit is running.
3 Adjust the damper handle to the closed position if itis a manual control damper. Check the registers to see if the airflow hasceased. Adjust the damper to the open position and once again check theregisters to see if the airflow has resumed. If you feel airflow when thedamper is closed, or no airflow when the damper is open, the damper is mostlikely bad.
4 Turn on the vent unit if you have an automaticcontrol damper. Check the registers and feel for airflow. If you feel littleairflow and the room is having problems maintaining temperature, or if you feela lot of airflow and the room seems drafty, you probably have a faulty vent ACcontrol damper.
However, if the model of the heater from the manufacture is still in production the part purschase from them.

Thanks.

Can i use a universal remote on a gas heater

If the universal remote is compatible with a milllivolt gas control valve receiver or it comes with a millivolt receiver that can be wired into the heater, then it should work. If it doesn't do or have any of the aforementioned, then, no it probably won't work. The hand held remote and the receiver frequency have to match or be capable of being reprogrammed.

Hope this helped to answer your question.

The polit will not stay on even after holding down

Sounds like you have a bad Pilot Safety also known as a Thermocouple. If you look at the pilot, you will notice a small copper probe that is in the flame of the pilot. Follow the probe back to the gas valve and remove it. No gas will leak out. Bring the whole probe to a good hardware store or fireplace shop for a new one.

Runs ccw needs to run cw hp 5 460 v hz60 wired

Look you are putting to much thought in to this. To reverse the direction of a 460 volt motor simply swap two of your power feed leads. You know the L1, L2, and L3 simply change L1 with L2 and your direction will change, calm down and do not over think this.

I have a Bonair evap aircon model VSL75 with the comfort controller and I want to reduce the water dumping cycle down. I have tried the manual but that sequence didn't work.

Here are the steps you might want to follow: Setting the Draining Cycle Times (Dump Interval): This setting controls how often the unit dumps the water. You can adjust this setting to reduce the frequency of water dumping. Setting the Drain off Delay Time (Dump Delay): This setting controls the delay time before the unit starts to dump the water after it has been turned off. If adjusting these settings doesn't work, there could be other issues with your unit. For example, a continuous water dumping problem could be due to a faulty dump valve or a problem with the float valve.
