Check the capacitors on the motherboard. This is a typical example of power cap failure. They look like small penlight batteries and should have a flat or dished top. If the capacitor has a domed top, it has failed. You can either replace it or you need to get a new board. sorry. Although you may have a failed power supply. you can get a PSU tester for just a few pounds/dollars.

you might have overheated and corrupted your graphics card and its driver software make sure the graphics card is securely seated and check the lead that attach motherboard to hard drive these might have overheated and lost connectivity a computer needs to have current and data to travel up to and through every device for it to work properly even the cd/dvd must work in/out even the fan and its lead must work

Windows a ?t? totalement corrompu par le mauvais video driver - trop tard pour le r?cup?rer. To dois recharger Windows avec le Recovery Disk , booter dans Safe Mode, decharger le driver video original, booter normalement et charge le nouveau .

Connect the head phone in the port and select head phone in sound hardware .If still sound not come then might be your head phone is faulty.

I assume that you got a little balloon in the
bottom right-hand corner announcing that your
virtual memory is low and that Windows is
adjusting it. If this happens just once, don't
worry.

As the message said, Windows found a problem
and fixed it. But if it happens repeatedly,
it could be that your settings don't allow
Windows to make the necessary adjustment.

First, make sure your drive isn't overly full.
In Windows Explorer, right-click the drive
icon and choose Properties.

your cooling fan has dust on it. clean and spray some silicone or even spray and cook should solve it, check to see if fan guard has not been banged and fan catches on this guaqrd>

remove the item from Device manager - uninstall it's entry - sbe a yellow exclamation mark next to it. and reboot to see if windows picks it up correctly. Remeber Windows will always install or offer to install a driver for any device it finds as long as it recognises the device. These windows drivers are normally ok for getting you up and running but They'll mostly be out of date and won't fully utilise every function of your device. So a trip to your device manufacturers web site is the best thing to do to get a more compatible and up dated driver

I have a TARGA TRAVELLER 1574 X2 LAPTOP which is about 2-3 years old. I was using it last week, everything was fine. I put it away, but when i came to use the laptop later on, the screen was completely blank. The power button was lit up and everything else was ok, but no power was going into the monitor. Ive tried to see if it had gone into sleep mode, but to no avail. Ive even tried to reboot with a WINDOWS XP disk but nothing. Do you have a solution to my problem?

The monitor of the computer is not getting a signal from the computers video card.

this can be caused by a faulty video card, or just the computer not starting up properly.

instead of replaceing parts I would recommend you take the computer to a professional or someone knowledgeable in computers to get it fixed.

depend on your OS as to how you go about this but basically click "start" the right click on "my computer" select properties. this will get you to system properties..slick the "hardware tab then the "device manager" button.

Find "display adapters" and right click on your current video card and select update driver. tell it no to search the internet then click on the "install from a list or specific location (advanced)" you the should come to a window where you can "browse" to and select the folder where your new driver is located. it will look for the .inf file and install the driver. This is a walk through using XP its gonna differ a bit on Vista but its basically the same thing.

If your PC tells you the driver is not found, the card itself is working but the problem is in the software.
Chances are that a microsoft update caused this problem, specially if you pc is set to automaticly update windows.

Try re-installing the targa drivers, this might help.
Otherwise try to find out if there is a driver-update available on the relevant website of Targa.
