No executable program in video drivers folder

Targa traveller 1574 x2 has nvidia geforce go 7400 as video card. I had to reinstall windows, and all drivers of course. after formatting pc, windows only recoginzes vga driver, which is not card i wanted.

After downloading right drivers from targa-online.com, I get a folder with no executable file. so how am I supposed to install drivers that have no executable, when windows doesn't even find right card (can't just put it to update card drivers from control panel)?

I have a TARGA TRAVELLER 1574 X2 LAPTOP which is about 2-3 years old. I was using it last week, everything was fine. I put it away, but when i came to use the laptop later on, the screen was completely blank. The power button was lit up and everything else was ok, but no power was going into the monitor. Ive tried to see if it had gone into sleep mode, but to no avail. Ive even tried to reboot with a WINDOWS XP disk but nothing. Do you have a solution to my problem?

Where can I find a driver/adapter for Advent X19W LCD Monitor?

Goto device manager , uninstall the card. go into control panel and check that the driver is uninstalled from the programs list. Swich of the pc for a minute or two then reboot Windows updares does not download drivers for graphics cards so will not install or reinstall the driver that is causing the issue, 307? Users forget to uninstall from program manger in control panel which is why the card keeps reinstalling with the undesired driver.
Please let me know what happens

No executable program in graphics card drivers folder

depend on your OS as to how you go about this but basically click "start" the right click on "my computer" select properties. this will get you to system properties..slick the "hardware tab then the "device manager" button.

Find "display adapters" and right click on your current video card and select update driver. tell it no to search the internet then click on the "install from a list or specific location (advanced)" you the should come to a window where you can "browse" to and select the folder where your new driver is located. it will look for the .inf file and install the driver. This is a walk through using XP its gonna differ a bit on Vista but its basically the same thing.
