Good Morning. I have a silly question. I have been given a Hamilton Beach Portfolio that I think is a juicer. I have no directions on how to use it. Can you help me? At least let me know if it is a juicier or not. Model # 67333, Type CJ11

The power switch of my hamilton beach juicer is not turning to the on side. It is stiff.

I just had the same problem with my juicer. Here's what I did to solve it. FIRST, UNPLUG IT!. Next, take all the accessory parts off of it. Then, turn the base unit upside down and shake it around a bit. Then put it back on the counter in the regular upright position and start jiggling the power switch back and forth. After I did this, the power switch started moving again.

Is there mercury in the heating element on the hamilton beach toastation

I can't find a direct answer, but would say no, since there are so many federal laws about mercury. Most heating elements use nichrome 80/20 (80% nickel, 20% chromium) wire, ribbon, or strip. Nichrome 80/20 is an ideal material, because it has relatively high resistance and forms an adherent layer of chromium oxide when it is heated for the first time.

Looking for a replacement pitcher

Just this morning I called Hamilton Beach directly. You can buy one from them.
The number is 1-800-851-8900
The pitcher, by itself, is $5.99
Shipping is $5.50
Tax is determined by the state you live in!
Give them the SKU #40911
Hope that helps!
