I need a more powerfull eye piece. my eyepice is 20-50 and good fo 100-200 meters but not good for 300 meters. will a more powerfull eye piece help? G Ash

Your scope may not be hurt if water has not caused any rust yet. Things you will need, hair drier, Vaseline, large clear plastic bag, gas from a paint ball gun canister. Remove the eye piece, and shake as much water out as you can. Use the hair drier and heat the tube up, not too hot but warm, to dry the inside as good as you can, keep after it, shaking it and heating it. Once you feel all the water and moister are gone. Put a good amount of vaseline on the threads of the eye piece. The put the scope, the eye piece in the plastic bag. Use the paint ball gas and inflate the plastic bag, tie off the bag leaving room so you can screw the eye piece back on the main tube. Leave the scope in the bag for a few minutes before you do screw the eye piece on letting the gas fully get in the tube. The gas will give a bit of positive pressure inside the tube, Will displace any other air that will have moister in it. Keep the inside from fogging back up. The vaseline will help seal the gas inside. Hope this Helps Fix Ya up.

What power supply are you using? if it is a 1.4 amp then it may be too low. See if you can find one that is about 2.6 amps.

There are many different faults that can result in check engine light turning on and fuel consumption higher than normal. Common fault is for example one of the O2 sensors gone bad.

The easiest way to find the cause of the problem is doing an OBDII code scanning. In US this can be done for free at the nearest Autozone, otherwise code scanning is done at the dealer place or at any local garage for a small fee.

Congratulation you got a good equipment. It's intruction manual has 204 pages & I can not post here. But plz go to the link & down load the manual on your computer & see the world with a different eye. May God give you the real eyesight which can see across the time as well.

A good cross point driver would be handy. Most of the cheap sets you see with 5 or 6 drivers are not the right size. The metering selector has a stuck on center, prying it off is needed to get to the screw. Same for the eye piece diopter adjustment.

Sorry about Meade's responses, but their website has a download section for the telescope manuals - you may not find one that matches exactly, as they produce hundreds of models, but one that is close should suffice. As for eyepieces, there are several good vendors out there; Orion Telescopes, Meridian etc. Just check the barrel size; either .965" (Japanese standard) or 1.25" (American standard).
