My speaker volumeo n the Gateway One zx 4931=31e is only at 50% so how to I turn it up?

Shut off the unit; when you turn it back on pay attention to the screen as it should display a message to hit a certain key on the keyboard that will bring you to a screen that will allow to chose starting in normal mode. This message will come up quick on the screen so you need to choose the key on the keyboard rather quickly or the system will just start-up as it usually does.

upgrade drivers, switch on wirless in BIOS, switch on wireless hard swith (or key combination - look to manual)

The protection light is on indicating a short or over- voltage problem. If you disconnect the speaker leads and the light goes off or green then the problem is a shorted speaker or wiring problem. If the light stays red the problem is inside the amp and it will need service and parts.

use ISO Kodak 400 as a start. Remember that the higher the speed the higher the grain. So if you want to enlarge to poster size a lower ISO speed will give the less grain, ( sharper image ).

Others here have suggested the problem lays with the plastic gear on the advancing motor beside the mirror.

This might cost $100 or so...?
