This is verry verry common in these Acer note books part of witch the driver cannot find the audio device that is on the mainboard. Most cases a nice recover does work by running the acer recovery consol that is on your Aspire desktop.
Now there should be a disk that came with your Aspire if not you need to visit www.acer.com and have them ship you out your disk. Only after recover if the sound drvier still failes you going to need to have the laptop looked at. Again this is verry common and the only solutin is recovery if that solution does not work then acer will need to get involved.
Thanks hope this information helps it was FREE and I hope you leave positive feedback and ratings for it. Thanks
You're saying that there's no sound coming on your computer or you lost the songs save on your computer?? If the problem is there's no sound coming from your computer make sure the sound device is working properly check it under device manager..
You might find it difficult to get hold of windows XP keys since Microsoft stopped selling it.
If you get on google and search for something called TinyXP (rev09). I think that this willl solve your problem.
i'm sorry, still having a problem understanding your probleM(THERE I SAID IT)r u trying to say you have no sound on your computer(& it keeps coming up no sound devices)
Hi sir, Its a simple problem, it can be solved easily....
How to solve this: You have to install the driver from your motherboard CD.
Then visit the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motherboard manufacturer's website and download, install the latest update.
You will need to install the drivers for your sound. Get the drivers from:
1. the OEM's website for your specific machine if you have an OEM computer like Dell, HP, Sony, etc.; or 2. the motherboard http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motherboard mftr.'s website for your specific motherboard; or 3. if you received a driver cd with the computer, use that.
To determine what hardware you have in the machine:
1. look at any manual that came with your computer; or 2. go to the OEM's website for your specific computer if you have an OEM machine; or 3. install the free Everest Home Edition software which will inventory your hardware: http://www.lavalys.com/index.php?page=product&view=1
i think the audio driver is not installed ... try installing the audio driver ... to hear sound audio codecs are required so just install the audio driver given in the manufacture cd while the purchase of the PC or motherboard ... if already installed then go to control panel > sound & audio devices there you check the audio is it installed or not if it is installed then it will show the volume panel ... if not it will show you no audio device available ... then you must install the audio driver ... if installed then also facing this problem then go to control panel >system>device manager>check the sound devices uninstall them & then reinstall the audio driver ... this must solve your problem ... if still problem persists then check the speakers & wires correctly ... & check if it inserted to the audio jack only or not .. check in audio panel is the volume is muted... if you still persist the same problem then there may be some problem in the port or loose contact check it ...
