Hi,
Check your cable that connected from CPU to Monitor. Remove the plug from both end and connect it again.
If still the issue pursues you need to update the update the Monitor Driver.
Open RUN from Start Menu and type DEVMGMT.MSC and Enter.
This will open the Device Manager window.
Go to Monitor and down you can able to view the installed drivers.
Update the drivers and reboot your PC.
Please let me know the status.
Hi,
If you are not able to view the desktop means you need to contact Samsung Customer Care or you can contact a hardware engineer to check the cable connection from Monitor to CPU. If both connections are perfect, then the issue will be for the monitor or video card.
Check the monitor cable that fixed in CPU correctly or if you have a spare cable just fix that one and check.
Please let me know for further assistance.
the monitor cable is OK. I do isolation and found out that the monitor itself is the problem. Since its out of warranty, I courageously open it (remove the back casing), and clean it. Then I test it (still open - no back casing) and luckily it displays the windows desktop normally. But still thinking what it causes.
