You want to make sure you don't have a prior versions of Flash Player before download. Check in your "programs and features" and make sure you do not have Adobe Flash Player in there, if you do, uninstall it. When you download, you will need to be out of all apps that access the web, such as, Internet Explorer, MSN Messenger, some Yahoo mails, etc. You may be prompted to add an Active X, which you have to allow. Durring the download, you may have a window pop up that tells you what you need to get out of. You can minimize the download and exit programs, then come back to download and finish. If it is easier for you, you can save to file, get out of everything, then open file and download.
