It sounds like the Plantronics Backbeat 903 may need to be reset. This is the link to the User's Guide. You can try that option.

In my case it was the answering button that was stuck. I opened the speaker removed all the rubber parts and deeped the speaker with the board on alcohol. The used a air can to blow out all the alcohol and dirt out of it. Afther that it wasnt working so with a knife I pushed one of the sides of the answering button up (just a little like 1mm) it started working like before . It powers up and all buttons work now. I'm no technician. Just startet tempering with it and go it working. Hope this helps.

I would suggest that you have a faulty 903. Your remedy should be to return it to your retailer for a new one.

My iphone 4s can not find my 903

Once you make your iphone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 903 headset into pairing mode by pressing the power button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, it's not in the pairing mode. Below is a link for the user guide which has the pairing instructions:

Unable to conenct to laptop

Performing a system reset might take care of the problem. Reset instructions: Plug in the AC charger and hold the power/pair button. The headphones will show a solid red or blue light when they have been successfully reset.

Will not charge the built in battery

The battery in the BackBeat 903 is not replaceable. If your headset is not charging and less than a year old, return it to your retailer for warranty replacement or call Plantronics at 800-544-4660 x5 x5538 for warranty service.

I am trying to charge my Plantronics M100 blue tooth. I will not charge and the light is flashing red continuously.

If headset does not charge and light blinks red continually, it is defective and will need to be replaced. It comes with a one year warranty. Call Plantronics at 1-800-544-4660 x 5538 for assistance.

My plantronics backberat 903 has a blue light when charging, but when I unplug it, I am unable to turn it on using the power button. Please help

When turning on your headset you should see the blue light flashing for a small brief time. If that is not happening, check to make sure that the headset is paired up with your cell phone.
