The model # of my new Haier 5,000BTU window AC isn't in your extensive list. It's HWF05XCK-T. It's clearly not draining as it's begun to spit water out the front and make that ping-ing noise when water hits the fan. We removed it to drain it, check for any obstruction in the external drain and re-install it making absolutely sure it was at the correct angle. To our surprise we cannot find an external drain ... there are 2 nickle size, white caps on the external to the window underside, but they appear to be welded in place. Suggestions on what are we missing would be greatly appreciated?

If you didn't ice up the unit the water should flow freely from unit. Is the filter clean?

The problem you're experiencing is generally caused by the rear of the unit not being tilted down enough. 1/4" to 1/2" is the general rule. This allows collected water in the drip pan, to run to the rear of the unit, where the drain hole is located. It would also be prudent, to check the drain hole under the drip pan, to see if it's clogged. It can be cleared with a pipe cleaner.

There's a drain pan under the unit. I has a drain hole on the outside (outside the wall) part of the AC. If the unit is installed properly and has a 1/4" to 1/2" downward tilt on the outside, the water runs to the rear of the drain pan and drains out thru the drain hole. That's assuming the drain hole is not clogged.

Yes . you reallly don't want the automatic evaporating feathur running.. Thak about it.. you spend money to remove the moisture and then you evaporate it back in ot the room. fand a way to drain it to a pan you can dump or drain it ot theout doors.

This frost usually occurs when the exhaust hose is sloped down to much and moisture is trapped in the hose, rather than being exhausted outside. Also, check the air intake filter, as it may need to be cleaned.

It have the same one, but pushing thr power button does work. Are you sure there isn't a blown circuit? Double check your outlet with another device...like a lamp. Sorry I can't help more.
